The brass spur embedding wheel is used to attach the wax foundation to your wired frames.
Simply heat the wire spur in hot water and press the wire into the wax whilst rolling along the length of the foundation sheet.
Others have had success by gently heating the wax foundation with a hairdryer on low setting too.
